A poem in memory of my Aunt Yuki: My Aunt Yuki was a woman With the brightest smile And lots of words of wisdom If I was ever in denial She was so warm and welcoming Every time we met Her thoughtful gifts and loving hugs I will never forget She had such grace and beauty She was so talented and smart It hurts right now knowing That we must be apart But I know that she’ll be with us At every Ferreira gathering Through shared memories, laughter and inside jokes The same happiness she will bring.
